Join us on Fridays for our Farm Volunteer day, or apply to participate in our Karma Yoga Volunteer Program for one to three months.
We have two main ‘gardens’ at Clear Sky – Gaia Garden and Tara Field.
In Gaia Garden, we grow vegetables and herbs for the Clear Sky Kitchen’s use, including rhubarb, salad & greens, root vegetables, mints and oregano, as well as flowers.
Tara Field is a 25 acre area divided into a 20 acre hay field and a northern 5 acre food forest area. In the northern food forest area, we have a new one-acre demonstration food forest project, as well as about 120 seabuckthorn trees, young pine nuts and other wind break trees. Tara Field is also the home of our garlic crop, strawberries, raspberries, horseradish, rhubarb and our jeruselum artichokes growing somewhat wild.
