About Us: Roots & Branches
Clear Sky Farm is a division of Clear Sky Meditation and Study Foundation, a registered non-profit society and charitable organisation in Canada. Clear Sky is a 310 acre Meditation Retreat & Study Center in the Bull River Valley (near Cranbrook and Fernie) in eastern British Columbia, Canada. People come from all over the world to meditate & study both Eastern & Western spiritual traditions of awakening. Other than meditation retreats, the center is also host to numerous other courses throughout the year on native grasslands, ecology, permaculture, farming, psychology, yoga, dance, and much more.
Clear Sky Farm is a volunteer based enterprise of Clear Sky Center. Volunteers and meditators spend time practicing mindfulness while weeding, cultivating, sowing & harvesting! Thanks to their efforts, we are able to enjoy this wholesome exploration into heritage garlic, permaculture, food forests, and small scale sustainable farming! We believe in sustainability and caring for both the Earth and People: We grow everything organically and aspire to utilise permaculture design principles in all our efforts.
